Inclusion in Focus: The FZIB at the Wochen der Inklusion

Das Bild zeigt Forscher:innen der Kooperationspartner

As part of the Wochen der Inklusion (June 16 – July 6, 2025), the Center for Empirical  Research in Inclusion (CERI) opened its doors in the “Digital Lab for Inclusion.” Numerous visitors took the opportunity to explore assistive technologies and digital tools in interactive workshops, testing and discussing their possible applications in inclusive contexts.

A highlight was the event day on June 27, 2025, when the Research Center for Inclusive Education (FZIB), together with 29 other organisations and associations, showcased its work. Researchers from the University College of Teacher Education Styria, the Private University College of Teacher Education Augustinum, and the University of Graz presented current research projects on inclusion and, together with visitors, collected innovative ideas for future initiatives.

A special highlight was Cubetto, a friendly wooden coding robot, which young and old programmers alike guided playfully through “forests, meadows, mountains, and waters” – a vivid example of inclusive learning with digital media.
